Tactical Clinch Extended

Course Focus

The TRICOM Tactical Clinch – Extended Course builds upon the core principles introduced in the foundational module, advancing your ability to control violent encounters in high-stress, close-quarters environments.
This course refines gross-motor control, positional dominance, and transitional tactics with a focus on responding to realistic resistance, managing armed threats, and handling multiple attackers. Through scenario-driven pressure testing, students will learn to make effective decisions in rapidly changing situations, with or without weapons in play.

What You’ll Learn

✔ Advanced Clinch Entries & Disruption Tactics – Enter and establish control against a resisting, striking, or armed opponent.
✔ Positional Flow & Counter-Fighting – Maintain dominance while transitioning between positions under pressure
✔ Integrated Striking & Manipulation – Apply elbows, head control, and structure disruption to damage or destabilize the attacker.
✔ Takedown-to-Control Transitions – Flow from clinch to ground with tactics that retain positional superiority and allow for cuffing or disengagement.
✔ Weapon Threats in the Clinch – Detect, control, and respond to knives, firearms, or blunt weapons at close range
✔ Multi-Attacker Response – Retain awareness and positioning when facing more than one assailant in confined spaces.
✔ Environmental Integration – Use walls, vehicles, and confined areas to your advantage during clinch engagements.

Why This Course Works

While most clinch systems are optimized for sport or single-opponent engagements, TRICOM’s approach prioritizes simplicity, functionality, and survivability. This extended-level training ensures that techniques hold up under stress, against resistance, and in weapons-based or multi-threat environments—where control must be immediate, decisive, and adaptable.

🔹 Train smart. Train real. Train for survival.
