Jacob, a highly experienced martial artist and trainer with over 30 years in the martial arts and 25 years in the private security industry.
Jacob’s journey into the world of martial arts began with a deep passion for self-defense and personal growth, leading him to explore various disciplines over the years. Jacob also served as a private bodyguard for the Three Angels Corporation, further solidifying his real-world experience in security and protection.
For 12 years, Jacob ran the Guam Kajukenbo Self Defense Systems dojo, where he trained countless individuals in the art of Kajukenbo, a mixed martial art that blends multiple fighting styles for real-world self-defense. During this time, Jacob developed a desire to create a more comprehensive system, one that combined his years of experience across different martial arts and combat strategies. This vision led to the creation of Integrated Martial Arts Strategies (IMAS), a holistic approach that goes beyond traditional styles to offer practical, real-world applications for security, law enforcement, and military personnel. In 2019, during the global pandemic, Jacob discovered TRICOM (Triangle Combatives), a system of close-quarters combat designed for those who work in high-risk environments. His extensive background in teaching security, law enforcement, and military personnel made TRICOM a perfect fit for Jacob. Eager to expand his knowledge and refine his skill set, Jacob trained directly under TRICOM founder, Jared Wihongi, to become a Certified TRICOM Tactical Clinch/Fundamentals Instructor.

Jacob’s work spans across the private security sector, where he has trained professionals in defensive tactics and combat techniques that are essential for their daily operations. With a lifelong dedication to the art of combat and self-defense, Larry has honed his skills in a wide array of disciplines, including Boxing, Freestyle Wrestling, Kali, Muay Thai, Kenpo, Aikido, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA.
Driven by his mission to inspire and empower his students, Larry emphasizes physical, spiritual, and moral development as the foundation for a healthier lifestyle. His impressive credentials include multiple martial arts ranks:
• Kenpo Aiki Jitsu – Brown Belt, 2nd Degree

Chris Thompson is an Assistant Instructor in Integrated Martial Arts Strategies (IMAS), actively training to become a full instructor. Under the mentorship of Jacob, a highly experienced martial artist and security professional, Chris has developed expertise in close-quarters combat and real-world defensive tactics.
