Integrated Martial Arts Strategies Guam
A Comprehensive Self-Defense System for Street Survival

Integrated Martial Arts Strategies (IMAS) is a practical, real-world self-defense system developed in Guam. It was created to help everyday people prepare for and survive violent encounters using a blend of effective martial arts and combat principles.

This is not a sport or competition-based program. IMAS is designed for real-life situations—where your safety and the safety of your loved ones is the priority.

What Is IMAS?

IMAS brings together techniques and strategies from several proven martial arts systems, including:

Kajukenbo – A hybrid street-fighting method combining Karate, Judo, Kenpo, and Boxing, known for its effectiveness in self-defense.

Kenpo Karate – Focused on fast, direct strikes and quick defensive responses.

Filipino Martial Arts (Kali, Arnis, Escrima) – Specializes in weapons defense (knives, sticks) and close-quarters tactics.

Western Boxing & Kickboxing – Adds strong striking skills, footwork, timing, and defensive movement.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) – Integrates striking and grappling techniques useful in unpredictable, high-stress encounters.

Judo & Jiu-Jitsu – Teaches throws, takedowns, and ground control to manage threats at close range or on the ground.

BO-JIU-TAI Fighting System – A modern system combining striking and grappling for street-level defense.

Integrated Handcuffing

At Integrated Martial Arts Strategies (IMAS), we recognize that effective handcuffing is a critical skill for law enforcement, security, and military personnel. However, under stress, fine motor skills can deteriorate, making traditional methods difficult to execute. That’s why this course focuses on fundamental, gross-motor-based handcuffing techniques that are simple, effective, and reliable in real-world situations.

OC Pepperspray

At Integrated Martial Arts Strategies (IMAS), we understand that OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) spray is a powerful tool for law enforcement, security, and self-defense—but effective deployment requires proper training. This course provides comprehensive instruction on the safe, legal, and tactical application of OC spray in real-world scenarios.

Defensive/Offensive Knife Fighting

In a life-or-death encounter, a knife can be one of the most effective self-defense tools—but only if you know how to use it properly. The IMAS Defensive & Offensive Knife Fighting Course teaches the real-world application of edged weapons, covering both defensive survival tactics and offensive engagement strategies.
